What’s better than beer and brownies? Beer in brownies of course!
I’m a huge fan of Guinness (blame my father), so I look for any excuse to include it in my baking (see Chocolate Stout Cupcakes with Baileys Frosting).
I found this recipe online and just had to try it. It was amazing. Melting the chocolate was therapy in a way, and boiling the Guinness down to a concentrate was an exercise. The Guinness kept wanting to bubble up out of the pot, so I had to keep removing it from the heat in order to keep it under control.
All in all, it came out delicious, and my boyfriend LOVED them (although he kept making fun of the Guinness, he’s not a fan).
